This Fall 2025 Voter Guide lists endorsed and recommended candidates for the November 2025 elections in Canyon County. Besides voting for the candidates you can also help them by volunteering. And tell your friends about them!
These elections have unexpected boundaries so not all of them will be on everyone’s ballot. If you are not sure on your polling place or want a sneak peek at your ballot go to https://elections.canyoncounty.id.gov/
The Canyon County Democrats are proud to endorse the following candidates:

Eric Myricks
Nampa Mayor
Eric Myricks is not a career politician -nor were our Founding Fathers. Early American leaders were citizen-servants and free thinkers who dared to imagine new ideas. Nampa’s old guard is failing to deliver for modern times. It’s time for a fresh voice.
Eric is running as The People’s Mayor—a people-first leader who listens, promotes business, champions the radical middle, and serves our community with integrity and heart. He’s the only candidate with the vision to bring Nampa together and loosen the grip of the GOOD OLD BOYS’ club.
The Ford Idaho Center debacle has made it as clear as the smell of sour sugar beets at sunrise: This isn’t the first time leadership has played you like a cheap fiddle. Eric’s campaign is about changing that—making sure your voice is truly heard. That’s why Eric has knocked on 2K+ doors already, listening to your concerns, and turning those conversations into action.

Marisela Pesina
Caldwell City Council, Seat 3
Marisela was born and raised right here in Caldwell, the daughter of migrant farmworkers.
She attended Head Start, graduated from Caldwell High School, and went on to Boise State University.
"For more than two decades, I’ve worked to help families find stability through housing—first as an escrow officer and later as Assistant Director of the Caldwell Housing Authority."
"I’ve served eight years on the Caldwell School Board, including five as Board Chair, where I’ve worked to ensure our schools are safe, well-funded, and inclusive. I’ve also served on the Community Council of Idaho, St. Luke’s Community Board, and as a member of the Caldwell Rotary Club. Each role has strengthened my belief that strong communities are built on respect, transparency, and collaboration."
This city is my home. It’s where I raised my children, where I’ve volunteered countless hours, and where I believe every family—no matter their background—deserves the opportunity to thrive. I’m running to make sure Caldwell grows responsibly, stays safe and affordable, and continues to be a place where hard work and community spirit define who we are.
